wormian, a. Anat.|ˈwɔːmɪən| [ad. mod.L. (ossa) Wormiān-a, f. the name of the Danish physician Olaus Worm (1588–1654).] The designation of small bones of irregular shape (otherwise styled ossa triquetra), frequently found in the sutures of the skull.
