没有任何冠词，man 表示区别于其他动物的“人类”。

如果有定冠词或不定冠词或其他限定词，则表示具体的男人。

• Every man, woman, and child will be taken care of.所有男女老幼，都将一律得到照料。

但是也可以表示不分性别的人。

• All men are born equal.人人生而平等。
• Darwin concluded that men were descended from apes.达尔文得出结论说，人是猿猴的后裔。
• No man can live on this deserted island.这个荒岛上不可能有人居住。
• Put an end to the exploitation of man by man.消除人剥削人的现象。
